COMMUNITY COLLEGE SETS SPRING JOB FAIR
Event
will be April 24th at Chalmette High School
Mark your calendar for the Nunez Community College
Spring 2008 Job Fair. This year the Job Fair will be held in the gym
at Chalmette High School on Thursday, April 24th from 10
a.m. to 1 p.m.
“This will be the first time that Nunez is hosting a
Job Fair off campus since Hurricane Katrina, and we are excited to
involve more of our community members in this successful event,”
Carly Gervais, Job Fair coordinator, said.
Companies from the Greater New Orleans, St. Bernard
and Northshore areas will participate looking for potential
employees.
Gervais said the Job Fair will again have an official
program featuring a description of each business registered. That
listing is free. Paid advertisements are available in the program
that will be distributed to all who attend. The deadline for
placing program advertisement is Thursday, April 10th at
4:30 p.m.
Businesses must reserve space for the Job Fair by
paying a $25 registration fee.
The Job Fair is free and open to the public. For
