St. Bernard State Park Awarded $1,098,625

The $60 million will cover the cost of engineering, design and construction of 23 projects spanning our coast that will directly impact the communities that have been recovering since the spill.

St. Bernard State Park will receive improvements worth $1,098,625 which will include renovations to the park entrance, restroom facilities and construction of an event pavilion. “I’m excited to see a million dollars of improvements being put into our park,” said Parish President Guy McInnis.
