The Resident Services and Compliance Department's main function is to receive and track the progress of remedial actions relative to residents concerns and/or complaints. Specifically; the staff of Resident Services and Compliance logs all pertinent information provided by a resident and assigns a tracking number to that resident so that the resident can track the progress of any given complaint. Secondly, an inspector is assigned to inspect or investigate the complaint. If a code violation is at issue; in most instances, the inspector will take on site corrective measures as prescribed by ordinance. In complicated cases, the inspector will return to the office for further direction. With regard to public service issues (infrastructure problems with roadways, drainage, water/sewer issues etc..) the inspector will make an initial assessment of what remedial actions are necessary. Our office will then forward a report to the appropriate division/agency.We attempt to advise the resident of the processes available to address their concerns and advise what actions might be applied in order to resolve any given situation or concern.
