The mission of the Public Works Department is to provide professional services in a safe cost effective manner. The department assumes duties and activities in Administration, Engineering, Facility Maintenance, Fleet Vehicle Services, Mosquito Control, Solid Waste, Water & Sewer, and Maintenance for our local parish maintained roadway system. Public Works strives to provide quality services to our citizens, and although each sub-department has a separate yet related function, they all work together to achieve the goals of the division.
