The first annual Family Fun & Service Day will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2008 from 10 AM - 3 PM at the Community Center of St Bernard, 1107 LeBeau St in Arabi, Louisiana. Organized by HOPE worldwide - Gulf Coast, the Family Fun & Service Day will include a variety of free activities for the whole family.

Children will be able to enjoy moon bounces, a zoo mobile (petting zoo) and lots of fun games! Meanwhile representatives from local counseling agencies, medical providers, non profit organizations, case managers and more will be on hand to provide services and information to the public. Event participants will include Shoemaker Chiropractic, Furnishing our Neighbors, City of Hope, Celebration Church, Family Health Care Center and much more. A free lunch will be served from 11 AM - 1 PM and there will be a chance to win some great door prizes!

Several tables are still available for other area businesses or other organizations that wish to take part in the Family Fun and Service Day.
