Pet of the Week – Chloe
This week’s pet is a beautiful and vibrant Chihuahua mix. Chloe came to us a very scared and shy little girl. Since her arrival, with just a few days of love and affection, Chloe has blossomed into a beautiful social butterfly. Chloe is a year and a half, tan and white in color, she get's along great with other dogs and she loves affection. This little lady would bring so much joy to any loving family.
Come visit all of the adoptable animals at the St. Bernard Parish Animal Shelter, located at 5455 E. Judge Perez Drive, Violet. http://www.petango.com/Shelters/St.-Bernard-Parish%60s-Animal-Shelter-1662

Christian Fellowship Provides Free Breakfast and Lunch to Students all Summer Long

Christian Fellowship Church is excited to announce details for their 2014 Summer Feeding Program. During the summer, from June 2nd to July 25th, breakfast and lunch is provided to the children of St. Bernard at no charge. The Summer feeding Program will be closed on July 4th.

The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) program provides nutritious meals to children who may not otherwise have access to healthy food when school is out. In St. Bernard, many students rely on free and reduced-price school lunches and breakfasts. But when the last bell of the school year rings, those children are at risk of going hungry. The summer food service program helps close the gap and ensure that these kids have access to nutritious meals all summer long.
