St. Bernard Parish Update – SEPTEMBER 25, 2020   

 

 

Chalmette, LA – St. Bernard Parish Government, Valero Refinery – Meraux, and Nunez Community College partnered to accept donations for victims of Hurricane Laura.

 

St. Bernard Parish President Guy McInnis, Valero-Meraux Vice-President/General Manager Leslie Sullivan, and Nunez Community College Chancellor Dr. Tina Tinney have partnered to lead an effort to support the victims, specifically the parents of infant children, of Hurricane Laura.  The community partnership had employees from all businesses donate baby supplies.  Items and monetary donations were collected to be delivered directly to the victims in need in Southwest Louisiana.  “I am honored to be able to be a part of a team whose main goal and focus is to help those in a time of need.  We could not have asked for more caring partners than the employees of each of these businesses” said President McInnis. donated items will be delivered to Lake Charles next Wednesday, September 30th.
