Government Access Channel

The Government Access Channel provides informative and entertaining programming for the residents of St. Bernard Parish. Programming includes chamber meetings, lectures, documentaries and coverage of parish events. Residents can watch on Cox channel 76, Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV, iOS device and Android. The channel is also streamed live 24/7 on our VOD channel which gives residents the ability to watch from their computers or smart device.

Chamber meetings are archived on our VOD page and can be accessed any time of the day.

Here are the steps to install the Cablecast app on Fire TV:

  • Ensure your Fire TV device is connected to the TV and internet
  • Navigate to the Fire TV home screen
  • Access the Appstore
  • Search for the Cablecast app
    • Use the search function to look for the Cablecast app. You can do this by using the on-screen keyboard to type "Cablecast."
  • Select the Cablecast App which looks like this: Cablecast icon image
  • Install the App by selecting “download” or “get.”
  • Confirm Installation if a confirmation screen appears
  • Wait for app to install which may be represented by a progress bar
  • Find the app on your home screen and select it
    • You should now be able to see an option for St. Bernard Parish Government TV
