A written examination will be given in approximately ninety (90) days, on a promotional basis to approved applicants for the purpose of placing names on the promotional employment list for the class of Fire Engineer in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Fire and Police Civil Service Law and the rules of the St. Bernard Fire Protection District #1-2 Civil Service Board.
Applications may be obtained from Roxanne Buras, Board Secretary, Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the St. Bernard Parish Government Complex, 8201 West Judge Perez Drive, First Floor, Chalmette, LA 70043 or they can be requested via email by sending a request to radams@sbpg.net.
Completed applications and the required attachments below must be submitted and received by the above-mentioned person at the address or email address listed no later than 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. Approved applicants will be notified of the exact date, time, and place of the examination at least five (5) days prior to the examination date.
