Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR)
Resilient Communities Infrastructure Program (RCIP).
St. Bernard Parish Government (SBPG) is hereby notifying citizens that a public meeting will be held on the 16th day of April 2024 at 6:00 p.m. to consider unmet infrastructure recovery needs in areas impacted by storm events in 2020 and 2021. The US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has allocated CDBG–DR funding to the State of Louisiana for ongoing recovery efforts. The Louisiana Office of Community Development (OCD) has made $1,958,708.34 available to St. Bernard Parish through the RCIP.
The following specific projects will be discussed at the public meeting:
- Val Reiss Park Rehabilitation;
- SBPG Complex Signage; and
- Any other potential projects identified by the public.
All citizens of St. Bernard Parish are encouraged to attend the public meeting and/or submit written questions and comments via mail or email to:
